LET-LOK® tube fittings have been carefully manufactured
and tested to withstand the demands of high performance
tube fittings, such as high pressure, impulse, vibration,
vacuum and temperature. These tube fittings are
manufactured to exacting tolerances using the most
modern and advanced computerized automation. One
of the major conditions to producing these precision
machined fittings is by maintaining stringent quality
control in conjunction with skilled craftsmen.

In order to assure maximum fitting reliability
and performance, great care should be given when
selecting the tubing for each application.
Stainless Steel
Tubing
Annealed 304 or 316 stainless steel tubing meeting
ASTM A-213, A269 or equivalent spefications. Based
on ultimate tensile strength of 75,000 psi (5167
bar). For metal temperatures from -200F - 1000F
(-290C -370C).
Copper Tubing
Annealed copper seamless tubing meeting ASTM B75
spefications or equivalent. Based on ultimate tensile
strength of 30,000 psi (2067 bar). For metal temperatures
from -200F to 1000F (-290C to 370C).
Gas Application
Tubing
Gasses are characterized by small molecules which
can escape through the smallest escape leak path.
It is therefore recommended for gas applications
to select tubing having greater wall thickness.
