Hi-tech Components HTC® specializes in the design and manufacture of high quality, specially manufactured valves and fittings for High Purity and Ultra Pure applications. Materials
• 316L stainless steel (316L)
• 316L stainless steel Var (V316L)
• 316L stainless steel Vim/Var (VV316L)
• Male and female nuts - 316, according to ASTM A-276 and ASTM A-479/A
• Standard gaskets - 316 silver plated or 316 unplated, or Nickel.


Material Traceability
Code to ensure full traceability and availability to furnish the customer with full document package, tracing the specific component back to the chemical analysis of the product material as well as its mechanical properties.


Marking
In order to ensure on each piece:
• 1. MANUFACTURER TRADEMARK.
• 2. MATERIAL TRACEABILITY
• 3. PROCESS & SURFACE LEVELS - “E” , “U”.


Pressure Ratings
Pressure ratings are calculated in accordance with Power Piping Code ANSI B-31.1 for stainless steel fittings. All working pressures are at a 4:1 safety factor for A.I.S.I 316

Technical Data

Clearing (According to HC 900 Specifications)

  • Unit check - All items are individually inspected for burrs, chips and dirt.
  • Ultrasonic cleaning to assist in particle removal from internal surface.
  • Unique electropolish process for cleaning, surface, micro smoothing and oxide film formation.
  • All cleaning service points in the clean-room are equipped with Clean Nitrogen Gas.
  • All UHP components are flushed with 600C hot DI-Water. The DI-Water is produced in an integrated process which is based on the reverse-osmosis principle and dionization process.
  • Parts are Vacuum Dried and Nitrogen Purged in oven and packed by Vacuum packing machine under class 100 area. Products are individually double-bagged in Ultra Clean Nylon 6 bags.
  • The clean-room is fully equipped with a superior gas distribution system to enable the delivery of various gases in specific quantities and pressures for different stages of product processing. All products are final cleaned and packed in a class 100 vertical flow clean-room environment.
  • To ensure the UHP cleaning procedure, key process - class 100 work areas and DI-Water production - are monitored and Statistically Process Controlled. Hot DI-Water supply is produced on-site and monitored on a continuous real-time. Resistivity is controlled at 18MW cm and average Total Organic Carbon (T.O.C.) at level less than 20 PPB.

Temperature Ratings
Maximum temperature ratings for 316 SS gaskets are 538o C (1000o F)
