Eastern introduces a
new line of economical portable mixers. Designed
for small-volume applications, they are ideal for
use in laboratories, pilot plants, light production
and chemical feed systems.
A variety of models are offered for mixing from
25 to 250 gallons of waterlike materials and 50
gallons of material with a viscosity of 300 CP.
All units are light weight featuring an aluminum
housing and C-clamp. Wetted parts are 316 Stainless
Steel. Every model features a built-in offset to
properly position the mixer in an unbaffled tank.
Single or dual props, adjustable on the shaft, produces
efficient mixing at 1725 RPM.
Electric-powered models are furnished with totally
enclosed, fan-cooled, capacitor start motors with
sealed ball bearings -- no maintenance required.
Open drip-proof and explosion proof enclosures are
also offered. A line cord and an on/off s\toggle
switch are standard on models with ODP or TEFC motors.
For variable speed, Eastern includes both an air-driven
model and a D.C. powered unit with integrated speed
control. The Model E-2V features solid-state electronic
control for constant torque at all speeds and loads
from 85-1800 RPM.
Options include: Fixed mounting bracket which replaces
the C-clamp for off-tank mounting or adapting to
a tote tank, PVC and other special coatings for
the shaft and propellers.
