Pump materials include polypropylene,
PVDF, and ARO’s own, patented conductive Acetal
- industry’s first truly groundable non-metallic
pump body material.
Eight diaphragm materials are available to provide optimum
material compatibility to your process. Choose from Neoprene,
Buna N, Viton, Teflon, EPR, Hytrel, Santoprene, or Urethane
(1/2” models only).
Fluid flow rates can be precisely adjusted with a simple
change in air pressure to the pump. Flow rates vary from
0-13 GPM (1/2” ports), 0-40 GPM (1” ports),
1-125 GPM (1-1/2” ports) and 0-145 GPM (2”
ports)
Because the fluid section has no sliding or close-fitting
parts, ARO’s pump is capable of handling abrasive
fluids and fluids with suspended solids from 3/32”
(1/2” ports) up to 1/4” (2” ports) in
diameter.
ARO’s patented “Unbalanced” air valve
design is the reason why ARO Diaphragm Pumps are “Unstallable”.
Start the pump up - shut the pump down - no matter how
often or how long, the ARO pump will resume pumping the
instant air pressure is resupplied to it. |

ARO’s metallic diaphragm
pumps are available in aluminum, cast iron and stainless
steel. They are also available with cast iron air motor
sections for pump applications in highly caustic or corrosive
areas.
Diaphragm materials include Teflon, Neoprene, Buna-N,
Viton, EPR, Hytrel and Santoprene for broad fluid compatibility.
Short, direct air passages give compressed air an unrestricted
path to meet high-performance needs. Because of the pump’s
1:1 ration, air inlet pressure is equal to material outlet
pressure.
ARO’s “Unbalanced” air valve design
makes this, and all of ARO’s Diaphragm Pumps “Unstallable”.
Because the unbalanced valve cannot settle in a neutral
position when the pump is shut down, it can’t become
stuck, requiring the operator to hammer on the pump in
order to start pumping again.
The fluid section has no sliding or close fitting parts,
allowing the ARO Pump to pass suspended solids from 1/8”
(1-inch) to 1/4” (1-1/2-inch & 2-inch ports)
in diameter. |
